Statement

Thabo is passionate about tobacco control and having benefited from tobacco control advocacy training from the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids, he has assisted in different projects funded by different donors to facilitate Botswana’s progress in developing a tobacco control legislation that is compliant to the World Health Organization’s Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC).

Mr Imi Mokgethi

Mr. Imi Mokgethi is a Communications & Media Relations Assistant at the Anti Tobacco Network since March 2017. He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts (Media Studies) degree from the University of Botswana. Prior to joining ATN, he worked as a News Reporter for Yarona FM and Echo Newspaper. He has also worked for Mmegi/Monitor newspaper as a freelance journalist. In addition, he worked for KAMP Student Radio as a Radio Presenter during his study as an exchange student at the University of Arizona in the US in 2014.

Ms Tshenkego Molefe

Ms. Tshenkego Molefe is a Research intern at Anti-Tobacco Network. She attained her Bachelor of Arts (Social Science) majoring in Statistics and Economics from the University of Botswana.

Mr Kevin Boitumelo

Mr. Kevin Boitumelo is an Economic Research Intern at the Anti-Tobacco Network. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political studies from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. He has been an intern at the Anti-Tobacco Network since 10^th October 2017
